Seabourn Unveils 2029 Summer Voyages Featuring Return to Egypt and New Northern Europe Routes
Ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn has announced its Summer 2029 Ocean Voyages collection, bringing 166 curated sailings across more than 180 destinations worldwide. The new seasonal deployment spans the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada, and New England aboard three of the cruise line's signature small-ship vessels: Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn Quest, and Seabourn Encore.
The 2029 season stands out for its focus on boutique harbors, extended port stays, and a highly anticipated return to Egypt for the first time in over five years.
Mediterranean Revival and Overnights in Alexandria
Sailing from March through November 2029, Seabourn Ovation will lead the line's Mediterranean season with 21 distinct itineraries traversing the Western Mediterranean, the Italian Riviera, the Adriatic, and the Aegean Seas.

A primary highlight of the Mediterranean program is the return to Egypt, where select voyages feature overnight stays in Alexandria. This extra time allows travelers to journey inland to Cairo and explore the Great Pyramids of Giza. Additionally, the line is introducing new specialty voyages like Italian Coast & Fireworks Over Corsica alongside its signature complimentary "Evening at Ephesus" event, an exclusive after-hours classical concert held inside the ancient ruins of Ephesus.
The small-ship design enables Seabourn Ovation to navigate into hidden harbors inaccessible to larger cruise ships, including a maiden call at Kapsali on the Greek island of Kythira.
Expanding Northern Europe and the Gulf of Bothnia
In Northern Europe, Seabourn Quest will offer diverse itineraries visiting Scandinavia, the Baltic states, the British Isles, and Iceland. A major highlight of the region's schedule is a brand-new seven-day itinerary through the Gulf of Bothnia, exploring lesser-traveled coastal ports in Sweden and Finland.
The vessel will also stop in Turku, Finland, as the city celebrates its 900th anniversary in 2029. To give travelers deeper flexibility, many Northern European itineraries can be combined into extended voyages ranging from 14 to 42 days.

Wilderness Journeys in Alaska and Maritime Canada
In the Americas, Seabourn Encore returns to Alaska from May through September 2029, offering seven-day to 11-day routes between Juneau and Vancouver. Passengers can take advantage of the optional Ventures by Seabourn program, featuring guided kayak excursions and Zodiac cruises led by an expert Expedition Team alongside scenic cruising through British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest.
Meanwhile, Seabourn Quest will transition to Canada and New England during autumn 2029. These 12- and 13-day voyages highlight maritime heritage, autumn foliage, and overnight calls in historical cities like Quebec City, Boston, and St. John's, Newfoundland.
Bookings for Seabourn’s 2029 summer lineup are now officially open to the public.
