Kuwait Airways Launches Direct Flights Between Kuwait City and Tbilisi
Kuwait Airways has officially launched direct flights between Kuwait International Airport (KWI) and Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) in Georgia. The new route, which commenced on August 2, 2026, marks a key step in the airline's summer network expansion, catering to the rising demand for Caucasus travel.
Operating twice weekly out of Terminal 4 at KWI, the three-hour-and-40-minute flight connects passengers directly to Georgia's historic capital. The service provides a streamlined connection for leisure travelers and families seeking summer mountain escapes and cultural heritage tours.
Flight Schedule and Pricing
The twice-weekly service runs on Sundays and Tuesdays, with fares starting at KWD 80.200 (US$261) for round-trip economy bookings.

- Return: Departs TBS at 15:05 | Arrives in KWI at 16:55

Speaking on the route launch, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, highlighted that adding Tbilisi aligns with the carrier's focus on route diversification and enhancing connectivity across high-demand seasonal destinations.
The addition comes alongside other recent seasonal expansion destinations across Europe and the Middle East, including Nice, Vienna, Zurich, Mykonos, and Salalah.
