Emirates to Launch Airbus A350 on Orlando Route in November 2026

Travelers flying between Central Florida and the Middle East are in for a major upgrade. Starting November 1, 2026, Emirates will officially deploy its flagship Airbus A350-900 on daily scheduled flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Orlando International Airport (MCO).

The move marks the very first time Emirates has scheduled its brand-new A350 fleet on a U.S. route, replacing the Boeing 777-300ER that has served the destination for over a decade. For Florida passengers and international visitors connecting through Dubai, the aircraft swap introduces next-generation cabin interiors, quieter long-haul travel, and an expanded rollout of the airline’s popular Premium Economy class.

Elevated In-Flight Experience Across Three Cabins

The newly configured Emirates A350 features a three-class layout designed to accommodate 298 passengers: 32 Business Class suites, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats.

The debut of Premium Economy on the Orlando sector provides a sweet spot for travelers seeking additional space without paying full business class fares. Each Premium Economy seat offers:

  • Generous Space: 19.5-inch seat width with adjustable headrests and footrests.
  • Upgraded Amenities: 13.3-inch HD screens powered by the award-winning ice entertainment system, seasonal dining served on Royal Doulton china, and sustainable amenity kits.
  • Ground Perks: Priority check-in at Dubai and priority boarding privileges.

Business Class passengers will benefit from updated seat ergonomics, direct aisle access for all guests, and mood lighting designed to reduce jet lag on the long transoceanic journey.

Flight Schedule and Seamless Global Connections

The service will run daily, maintaining Emirates' established long-haul schedule positioned specifically to optimize connection times across Asia, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent.

Under the updated schedule, outbound flight EK219 departs Dubai (DXB) in the early morning and arrives in Orlando (MCO) by mid-morning on the same day. For the return leg, flight EK220 departs Orlando in the late evening, arriving back in Dubai overnight.

Travelers heading beyond Dubai can easily research connecting routes or track aircraft deployments through Flightradar24 or book directly via the carrier's primary booking portal.

A Strategic Move for Florida Tourism and Business

Orlando continues to serve as a vital transatlantic hub for tourism, commerce, and international flight connections. By putting one of the quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft in the sky onto the MCO route, Emirates reinforces its commitment to the Florida market while meeting growing demand for premium travel options.

Tickets for the new Airbus A350 service between Dubai and Orlando starting November 1 are currently open for booking across all major distribution channels and airline platforms.
