Tourism across the Queen City of the South and the broader Cebu province is experiencing a massive growth trajectory. Official provincial reporting confirms that Cebu surpassed 1.08 million tourist arrivals in the first eight months of the year, posting a sharp 12.78% increase over the same period last year.
The continuous expansion is backed by a major rebound in international travel markets. While domestic travelers formed the solid backbone of visitors at over 838,000 arrivals, foreign tourist numbers jumped by an impressive 27.28% to reach 242,108 visitors.

- Santa Fe (Bantayan Island): Clocking over 120,000 arrivals, maintaining its reputation as a premier white-sand beach destination.
- Daanbantayan: Welcoming nearly 60,000 travelers, propelled by world-class diving spots in Malapascua.
